The hotel was clean and had very caring and attentive staff at the reception desk. We had a twin room with a nice bed, safe box, mini bar, and central heating. - We liked the cheap restaurant. - Everything was simply perfect.

The twin room was in great shape and looked like it had just been done up, plus it had a balcony – perfect for some fresh air 😊. It's smack dab in the city center, right downtown. We grabbed a bite at D'affetto, and it was just a short walk away, which was super convenient.

Stayed for 2 nights in early June 2011. Less than a block away from Saldanha Metro Station. Breakfast was very basic with bread, jam/butter, ham and cheese (one type of each). Wired internet in the room for your own computer cost E5.00 for 24hr and the speed was very fast. A computer was available near the front desk for about 50 cents/15 min. The entry door to the hotel was always locked, but buzzing for the front desk located on the second floor got an automatic entry, and you can go directly up in the small elevator to the upper floors. The hotel faces a smaller street just one over from a main arterial, but traffic and people noise from the outside was not an issue. The room was also very basic (no safe, no fridge), but clean and had a view from the upper floors (6 floors total) of a parking garage and nice buildings on the sides. The air conditioning in the room also worked ok, and mostly drowned out incidental noises from neighbors, including the young Germans who liked to talk to each other from room to room with their doors open. It took 30 minutes to briskly walk down the main streets to the waterfront, and another 20 minutes to walk up the hill to the castle. I would recommend getting a E4.50 24hr bus pass from the metro station (directly from the machines), and this was good for all the buses, cable cars and subway including the buslines such as #44 that go to the airport in about 20 min, and will allow luggage with wheels but not large suitcases. The location is good, being placed midway between the downtown and the airport. The staff I dealt with were polite and efficient.

Highly courteous staff at the reception desk, recently renovated and well-maintained rooms with a balcony. Good and adequate breakfast selection of outstanding things.

The room was fantastic with exceptionally comfortable beds and the best bathroom. An electric kettle and a fridge were a big plus. - We did not want to leave there and would definitely return.

Had a such great stay out of service for the entirety of our 5 day stay, it met the needs. Everything was great from the staff to the room, lovely bed and silent room. Every staff member was good and kind. The hotel's location was central, to the airport for early flight. We tried some drinks at bar Galeto, located 10 minutes walk away.

The room had not very good views.

The hotel offers a variety of options and the food is outstanding. the twin room has a comfy bed, a safe box, a mini-bar, and central heating. - the location is good and excellent, being near Saldanha station and the main center of the city.

The breakfast here with delicious bread and good coffee was a nice surprise, and the room was bright, exceptional, and had a lovely bed.

The room is fully-equipped and recently refurbished.
